Cryptix 09 is an inter-college technical symposium conducted by the Department of Mechanical Engineering of our college. This event is getting a great response from various leading technical institutions around the country. We strongly support the students to conduct this event to enhance the knowledge sharing in the field of Mechanical Engineering. To cultivate new thoughts to kindle their minds. This event also helps the students to get a good organizing skill and enhance their knowledge in the field of Mechanical Engineering.

Event Details:

X Prez – Paper Presentation:
Any related topics with respect to mechanical engineering.
>Maximum of 2 authors per paper.
>Two hard copies and one soft copy to be mailed.
>Two copies of abstract, not exceeding 300 words.
>On spot registration for paper presentation will not be
entertained.
>Only LCD projectors will be provided.

X Quizzit – quiz contest:
>Spot entries are allowed.
>Two participants per team.
>Prelims will be conducted.

X Plot – CAD contest: (individual event)
Soft wares to be used are,
>Pro/E.
>Solid works.
>CATIA V5.
>Solid edge V18.
>Spot entries are allowed.

X Ebit – project presentation:
Any related topics with respect to mechanical engineering.
>Three participants per team.
>Soft copy of the abstract of the project is to be send through
e- mail.
>Details of instruments required should be provided in
advance.

Instructions

>ID cards, e-mail IDs and bonafide certificates are mandatory.
>Decision of the judges will be final and will not be subjected to any
further discussions.
>Travel allowances will be provided for one way by the shortest route
(II class train fare) only for paper presentation and project.
>Tickets in original have to be submitted for claiming travel allowances.
>All communications (including selections / rejections) will be only through
e-mail.
>Registration fee is Rs. 50/- per member.

Last date of submission of papers : 10.02.09
Date of intimation of selected papers: 11.02.09
