Festuary 09 is technical symposium organized by Department of Information Technology, SNS college of Engineering on 7th Feb 2009

Event Details

Guidelines:

• Only Student Participants.
• Participation of a single candidate is restricted to 3 events.
• Spot entries are opened for all events except paper presentation.
• LCD projectors and OHP will be provided wherever necessary.
• ID cards or Bona-fide certificates are necessary for all events.
• Free boarding and Lodging will be provided only on prior request.
• Judges decision will be final and binding.
• Rules are subjected to change.

Paper Presentation:

Topics (Note: Not Restricted only to the following topics):

• Mobile Computing
• Wireless Technology
• Bluetooth Technology
• Network Security
• Fuzzy logic
• Neural Networks
• Data mining & Data warehousing
• Artificial Intelligence
• Recent Trends
• Maximum 2 participants per paper.
• Duration: 10 minutes per paper (7+3).
• Paper should not exceed 10 pages.
• Font size: Title-14; Sub Title -12; Content- 11;
• Font Style: Times New Roman, Line Spacing: 1.5.
• Intimation will be done only through e-mail.
• We Necessitate:

• • One Softcopy (in CD).
  • Two Hardcopies.
  • Two Photographs.
  • Last date for submission (ping): 21st January.
  • Last date for Intimation (Acknowledgement): 28th January.

Soft Skills:

• Two members per team.
• Duration:

Prelims: 15 minutes.
Finals   : 45 minutes.

• Skill Test based on C, C++, Flash, and Photoshop.

Best Manager:

• Individual participation.
• Duration:

Prelims: 10 minutes.
Finals   : Head on Head with Co-Participants- On Stage Event comprising 3 Rounds.

• Duration:

Prelims: 15 minutes.
Finals   : 30 minutes.
Gaming:

• Individual participation.
• Prelims and Finals comprising two rounds each.
• Duration: 20 minutes.
