Electronics and Communication Engineering has a crucial role to play in the process of national development. There is need to update the knowledge on par with the latest development in engineering technology in the advanced nations and impart education with best standards to students in fulfillment of their academic pursuits, so that they could serve the society better.
Keeping in view the lighting speed of technological developments, students and teachers need to keep themselves abreast of ever-expanding technology in their field. It is also needed that the future engineers of our country be given a comprehensive view of technology through debates, quizzes etc.,
Scintillace 2k9 is an attempt to acquire a deeper and wider understanding of the developments in technology.
True to its name, Scintillace surely spread the sparks of knowledge and tries to bring big heads under one roof and provide each one of us with an opportunity to learn. Learning is indeed a continuous process.

Events include:
Manogna: Paper Presentation
Topics:
- * VLSI/Embedded systems.
- * Mobile & Telecommunication systems/ Satellite Communication.
- * DSP and it’s applications
- * Nuera lnetworks / Artificial intelligence
- * Nano / Micro Electronics
- * Any other emerging trends in ECE.
Protocols for submitting the paper:
- * All submitted papers are to be classified into one of the above topics.
- * Max. of 2 students per team.
- * Paper should not contain more than 9 pages (IEEE format).
On the event day:
- * Paper should be presented in MS-Powerpoint format.
- * Each slide shouldn’t contain more than 8 lines.
- * Each team is given 6 mins of time for presentation and 2 mins for discussion.
- * Registration fee for Manogna is Rs. 200/. per paper.
Moukhika: Poster Presentation
Topics:
- * VLSI/Embedded systems.
- * Mobile & Telecommunication systems/ Satellite Communication.
- * DSP and it’s applications
- * Nuera lnetworks / Artificial intelligence
- * Nano / Micro Electronics
- * Any other emerging trends in ECE.
Protocols for submitting the poster:
- * All submitted posters are to be classified into one of the above topics.
- * Max. of 2 students per team.
- * Abstract should be in IEEE format.
On the event day:
- * Each poster shouldn’t contain more than 8 pages.
- * Each team is given 6 mins of time for presentation and 2 mins for discussion.
- * Registration fee for Moukhika is Rs. 200/. per poster.
Mayukha: Project Presentation
- * Max of 3 members per project.
- * Any ECE related project.
- * Students should bring the electronic equipment on the event day to the college.
- * Open project report should be presented in max. of 6 pages.
- * He/She has to explain how the principle involved in that equipment can be utilized for the future design of new equipment which will be widely accepted than the present equipment.
- * Students are given 5 mins for the presentation and 2 mins for the discussion.
- * Registration fee for Mayukha is Rs. 150/. per project.
Important dates:
- * Last date for submission of paper/poster/project is 26th February 2009.
- * Intimations of selected paper/poster/project will be on 28th February 2009.
