One of the most anticipated events of the year ABACUS ’09, organised by the students of Department of Computer Science, Anna University has arrived. It is a battlefield where wars are waged over a period of two days between the titans of various colleges. Yearly more than 2000 students from more than 300 colleges all over India encounter this battle. The fact that the event is conducted on the grounds of Anna University and by the students of one of the most reputed departments of the state speaks volumes about this event.
Since its inception, Abacus has been successful, under the aegis of various companies, organisations and also by the active participation form the student community.
Since 1991 Abacus has been a yearly technical rendezvous. With a wide spectrum of events ranging form Online Programming Contest to Gaming & from Tech quiz to Informals, Abacus-09 is all set to be a massive success. With engineering students from top-notch colleges around the country are expected to be participating in this technical extravaganza, Abacus will be the ideal environment in bringing out your innovative ideas and propose solutions to real-time problems.
