| Welcome to the Environmental Festival (eco fest) of Swami Vivekananda Institute of Technology, the first of its kind in the country. On a planet where advancement of science and technology leads to its very destruction, the role of its myopic species can never be understated. May our planet, the Earth, never have to witness a day when the most intriguing phenomenon, life, disappears due to the very quest for survival… Gaia ’09 is all about the creation instinct with competitions that stimulate new ways of thinking and approach, that test your imagination and practicality and expose you to new dimensions of fun. Where we redefine “technology” as a means to enhance Nature than to conquer it.
