Horisun’09 is a national level technical symposium which will be held on the 20th of March,2009. Horisun’09 is conducted by CIT OSUM – Open Source University Meetup and focuses on open source aspect of the computing world. Being an event that is one of the biggest of its kind in the entire state, we have made sure that Horisun’09 reaches out to a lot more people than the years before.
Horisun 09 is conducted by sun club of CIT. Horisun 09 focuses on open source technologies. The event is scheduled to be conducted on 20th march, 2009
The major highlight is the workshop conducted by sun microsystems.
The events in the symposium are Web Development, Java Guru, Gaming – Counter Strike & Mostwanted, Best of Horisun.

Workshop:
The workshop is conducted by engineers from sun microsystems. The topic and online registration for the workshop will begin sortly.
Nominal fee will be collected for the workshop alone.

Counter Strike
We offer you the world’s NO.1 online game COUNTERSTRIKE. Here the participants are required to register as a team of five (not necessary to be of same college) . Prelims will be conducted based on the number of registered teams and only two teams will proceed to enter the finale . The members of the team which emerges victorious will be declared winners.
NFS Most Wanted
The game with the maximum servers running on the net , the game which is almost played by everyone irrespective of age groups , none other than NFS MOST WANTED is the other game which is to be held. Here the participants will race until only one sucessful paticipant remains who is the winner.
Best of Horisun
DO you think you are zero ??? Then, this is very much an event for you !!!!
Best of Horisun is the search for the best and all around(zero) engineer of the day !!! DO you think you can get the most elusive Headshots?? … tech-Crazy enough to write a code for a perfect Headshot ?? and also answer who created such a game ??? …
Then come and prove your all around mettle woth us in the “Quest for the Best” ….
