The vision of our former President Prof. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam is to make India a developed nation by the year 2020. Web Technology and Open Source are both observed as means of reaching the objective, since information is seen as an important resource for any country. Moreover, Information Technology is considered as the means of mobilizing knowledge workers, which is vital for any software development. Through wireless and other communication technologies, the Web is reaching the rural population. Not only hardware costs but also the license fees for software are seen as inhibiters for the spread of Web Technology. This is where Open Source finds its place. The source code for software like LINUX, APACHE, MySQL and PHP are downloadable from Web. We can use our vast software development talent in India to amend the source code according to the Indian condition. Papers in English, reporting original and unpublished research results and experience, are solicited.2 hard copies of the paper typed on one side of an A4 sheet in MSWord format should be sent to the coordinator. The soft copy of the paper should be sent to the conference email ID.

Paper Format: A4 limited to 7 pages, double column format.
 
Font Type: Times New Roman, Content: 10 points.

Font Size: 11 points with Sub Title Bold, 1.0 line spacing.

Paper Title: Center and Bold, Font Size : 14 points.
