Piconet 09 is a National Level Students’ Technical Symposium organized by the Association of Computer Engineers, Muthayammal Engineering College, Rasipuram . It provides a forum for young budding software engineers from highly reputed institutions across the country to share innovative views on the latest and emerging trends in the industry. The students are presented with a golden opportunity to exhibit and enhance their technical knowledge whilst competing with the best of the student fraternity. The symposium serves as an effective medium for showcasing the talents of the students and provides them a chance to interact with people from diverse backgrounds.
Events at Piconet’09 are not just renowned for the talented participants and passionate minds, but also the professional manner in which they are conducted. It is no surprise that Piconet’09, scheduled on 4th April, 2009 would be any different. It promises to live up to the quality and excellence that Piconet has become synonymous with. EVENTS
Paper Presentation:
The Paper Presentation event held every year as part of Piconet09 attracts some of the brightest minds from across the nation. It aims at exploring concepts of computing and to harness potential innovations for the future. Students are invited to submit papers based on the research work they might have undertaken in course of their studies. The event will be judged by an elite panel consisting of professors with in-hand experience ins industries.
Creative Thinking:
Every problem that has been solved can be solved again in a better way. This is the method of incremental improvement. New ideas stem from other ideas, new solutions from previous ones, the new ones slightly improved over the old ones. Many of the very sophisticated things we enjoy today developed through a long period of constant incrementation. Making something a little better here, a little better there gradually makes it something a lot better–even entirely different from the original
Treasure Hunt:
A treasure hunt is a map-based puzzle that the entire team must solve. With the help of flags and land marks , to reach the goal and trace and locate the treasure .
