This post was published 1 year 5 months 9 days ago and hence may be an old event. Please check the event website if the event is yet to happen. Symposiumz is not responsible for any misunderstanding. The rapid developments in the various spheres of engineering and technology have contributed immensely to the introduction of new products, services, improvement of productivity and quality and reduction in costs-all leading to enhancement of the quality of life.
Automation plays an increasingly important role in the global economy and day-to-day life. Engineers strive to combine automated devices with mathematical and organizational tools to create complex systems for a rapidly expanding range of applications and human activities. The earlier focus on using automation simply to increase productivity and reduce costs has now shifted to improved quality, emphasis on flexibility and convertibility in the manufacturing process.
Control system engineering that focuses on mathematical modeling of systems of diverse nature forms the backbone of industrial drives and control. Advancements in Intelligent control, Robust control etc., have resulted in precise control and optimization. The progress made in Communication Engineering in the past decade has been phenomenal. In addition to being an active enabler itindustrial production, it plays a direct role in various applications rangingfrom common man’s communication and entertainment to space walking.
The need for energy conservation has been increasingly fell globally. Emphasis is on harnessing non-conventional renewable energy sources effectively and economically in addition to finding ways and means of saving energy utilized for various applications, Environmental aspects are also to be kept in mind and ‘Clean energy assumes importance in this context.
In the above scenario, it is imperative to take a close look at the present status of Automation and Control, Communication and Energy Conservation with a view to critically analyzing the present status and chalking out the future course of actions with a focus on research. The conference will provide an excellent forum for dissemination of knowledge and experience in the thrust areas among the various stake holders from industry, academia, R&D and Government agencies.
