ABOUT THE COLLEGE
Set in a quiet rural location 18Kms from Karaikudi on Rameshwaram Road, the college came into existence in 1970 founded by the great Philanthropist Sri O. M. SP. SV. AN. Annamalai Chettiar. This college is affiliated to Alagappa University, Karaikudi and is approved by the Government of Tamil nadu. It aims to provide liberal education in Arts and Science. The motto of the college is “Knowledge from everywhere”. This College is one of the colleges that is meant for rural higher education without capitation fees.
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
Department of Physics is functioning since inception of the course with B.Sc Ancillary Physics. B.Sc. Physics major was started in 1982. The Department aims at the overall development of the students by involving them in programmes like seminars, cultural events, guest lectures by experts etc. The faculties are well experienced and well motivated researchers. 505 of the faculties have completed Ph.D and 2 faculties are research supervisors.
National Level inter collegiate meet and Workshops are the milestones of our Department.
ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
Material Science is an excellent field inviting inter disciplinary researchers. With the rapid advances in material characterization equipments, and materials with novel properties the material scientists are curious to invent the ultimate materials for every field of science. In this context the theme of this conference is very significant. A special feature of this conference is lectures from Scientists and Professors from various Institutions like Indian Institute of Technology, Universities, National Institute of Technology, and CSIR Institutes.

6. Both hard and soft copies of full paper must be sent only by post for acceptance.
8. Papers without registration fee will not be accepted.
