The Great Mind Challenge (TGMC) is a Nation-wide Software Development contest conducted by the IBM Academic Initiative Team. This contest focuses on enabling Technical institutes to nurture students. Grooming them to become part of a competitive workforce by arming them with market ready skills. It also aims to provide student programmers with a unique opportunity to develop innovative solutions using open standards-based IT tools from IBM in complex real time situations. They will mentor you, provide you free trainings, ask for it and you get it – Free trainings and technical downloads.This is an initiative to bridge the gap.Every care is taken in trying to ensure that the Contest and the offerings are relevant and useful to you and hope that you will rise to the Challenge, take the Initiative and Walk Through this Door.
To develop the application kindly make use of multiple products. One needs to start with RUP to plan the project effectively. Eclipse should be used to do the coding in Java, DB2 Express C with XML should be used to store and manage the database effectively, WAS CE should be used to host the application
