EmbedX is a 2-day workshop that introduces students to the world of embedded technology using the open-source Arduino platform and Atmega168 microcontroller. The workshop is tailor-made to give participants hands-on experience in working with microcontrollers. The Workshop takes a project oriented approach, where students would be building a complete closed loop control project.  Students get a certificate and a takeaway kit.

What does the Fee Cover?
The fee covers training costs + 1 kit per team. The fee does not include food, accommodation or local transport.

The Kit includes 3 things – 1-Arduino Atmega168 Based Development Board, 2-USB A-B Cable, 3-12V Power Adaptor

The Arduino Atmega168 Development Board Comes with a host of on-board features – USB Serial Communication, RS232 Serial Communication, 16×2 LCD, 4×4 Matrix Kepad, 3x 7-Segment Displays, 8 x LEDs, 4 x Switches, 1 x LDR, 1 x LM35, 1 x L293D H-Bridge, 1 x ULN2003, Transistor PWM drive with Feedback, 4 x Trimpots for ADC, 1 x Relay

• Creating a Simple Control for Motor Speed – DC Motor
• Creating a Simple User Interface for the Motor Speed Control
• Adding Feedback based Control for the Motor Speed Control
• Adding a Menu to the User Interface
• Adding User Input to the User Interface for custom Set Points

Day2 – Session 2 – Project Building
• Adding Storage Options to Store Set Point Data
• Creating Visual Indications
• Implementing Fault Tolerance / Prevention
