-u can register online for the events at anytime before 17th!
if accomodation is required, pls register at the earliest,i.e., before feb8th, so we can make the necessary arrangements.
-nithya, last date for registration is jan31! for your benefit, we can extend it by a couple of days to encourage participation. so try to bring in ur papers by the 4th of feb!
-We invite original research papers or review papers in the following fields.
Emerging trends in biotechnology: (nanobiotechnology,computational biology, biophysics,etc)
Industrial biotechnology: (genetic engineering, bioprocess, enzyme technology,etc)
Medicine and theraupeutics: (drug discovery,immunology, pharmacology,etc)
Food technology : (Food biochemistry, food microbiology,food storage and preservation,etc)
Environmental biotechnology: (bioremediation,biofuels,biomaterials,etc)
Participants will be given about 10 minutes for their presentation. This will be followed by a question session by the judges.
Rules :
Maximum of 3 participants per team.
Original research papers and review papers will be accepted. Plagiarism of any form is forbidden.
Participants must register online.
Abstracts and papers should be sent in IEEE format. (http://www.iswcs.org/iswcs2007/IEEE_Paper_Word_Template_A4.zip). The registration number must be mentioned.
Participants are requested to mail their papers before the deadline
The decicion of judges will be final and binding.
The final presentation on the day of biotechcellence should be made as per the instructions.
Accommodation will be provided.

meera, yes, u can register on the spot itself.. registration fee is 200rs for those who do not participate in paper presentation, i.e., those who take part in workshops, guest lectures, ad zap, etc.
devarajan, ad-zap prelims will most definitely be on the same day of the event.. i will confirm the date once the event schedule is put up on the website.
reshma, last date to submit abstracts was on feb3rd. your paper, if selected, can be presented on the day of the event before the judges.

I’m excited to be finally posting online after all these years. There really is no mystique (sp) about it, is there? I just dropped by your blog and had to write. I’m a recent college grad, journalism major if you must know, and I love the art of photography. I’ve got my website up but it’s nothing to boast about yet. None of my stuff’s been posted.
