For the first time Botix Workshop is scheduled to happen in 3 cities. In an attempt to make it accessible to more students across Tamil Nadu, We bring 3 Editions of the workshop happening in 3 major cities – Chennai, Madurai & Trichy

BOTIX is a 2 day hands-on workshop that focuses on introducing participants to the world of robotics. Split over 4 sessions participants are introduced to various concepts of robotics in each session and practically implement these concepts towards the end of each session. The sessions are designed to be concise to give participants more time for practical implementation. During the course of the workshop participants learn to build different types of robots including line following bots, obstacle avoiding bots & edge avoiding bots.

Duration: 2 Days
Fee: Rs. 4500/- for a team of 3 (Add Rs. 100 for Non-Chennai Workshops)
Fee: Rs. 3500/- for a team of 2 (Add Rs. 100 for Non-Chennai Workshops)
Fee: Rs. 2500/- for a team of 1 (Add Rs. 100 for Non-Chennai Workshops)

VENUE & Dates

Chennai : 13th & 14th March in Loyola College, Nungambakkam

Madurai: 27th & 28th March in Madura College

Trichy: 6th & 7th in St.Josephs College

What does the Fee Cover?
The fee covers training costs and kit cost only. The fee does not include food, accommodation or local transport.

• Overview of Operational Amplifiers
• Building an IR Sensor using OP Amp

Day2 – Session 1
• Controlling Motors – Driver ICs – ULN2003
• Controlling Motor Direction – H-Bridge – L293D

Day2 – Session 2
• Building an Autonomous Line Follower
• Building an Obstacle Avoiding Robot
• Converting the Obstacle Avoider to Edge Avoider

Day2 – Session 3
• Final Review – Question & Answer Session
