RULES FOR  NATIONAL LEVEL TECHNICAL PAPER PRESENTATION

1. A team consist of maximum 3 Member.
2.  Each team can submit any no. of paper.
3. The topics for the presentation are open.

PAPER SPECIFICATION:

The general format and rules for paper:

• Front  Page must contain

• Name of your research paper  (Times New Roman, 14, Bold and underlined, center text)
• Author 1 name with contact number and email id (Times New Roman, 12, Bold and Italic, center text)
• Author 2 name with contact number and email id  (Times New Roman, 12, Bold and Italic, center text)
• Author 3 name with contact number and email id(Times New Roman, 12, Bold and Italic, center text)
• College name  (Times New Roman, 12, no effects, center text)
• In case authors belong to Different college, mention respective college with author name.
• The paper should either in form of Word Document/ Pdf format.
   
• The page size should be A4. 
• The line spacing should be 1.5.
• The paper should necessarily have an abstract then introduction and matter.
• The last two titles of the paper should necessarily be Conclusion and References.
• Title fonts: Times New Roman, 14 font size , Bold and underlined, left alignment.
• Sub Title fonts: Times New Roman, 12 font size , Bold and Italic, left alignment.
  Paper should be incorporated with Figures, Tables, Expressions, Appendix if any etc.
• The coordinators reserve the right of rejecting any paper following deviation of the paper from the given format.
• Paper should be in two column format .
• The paper length should not exceed 8 pages, of the format specified

Submission and Selection

1. 1.      Participant can  submit their Paper and Abstract in following ways

A)     Courier:

Participant can courier their hardcopy of 1 page abstract and Paper to us along with a DD of Rs. 70/-(per author) in favour of Anish Anand, payable at  Mumbai.

i.e if there are 3 author for a single paper the entry fees for paper would amount to Rs. 210/-

B)     Email:

In your mail please specify the following, Name of your topic as subject

The body of mail should contain

• Name of college
• mobile no. of all authors
• email id of all authors
• cheque no. amount submitted
• Scanned copy of deposit slip.

 Along with these detail mail your paper to tpp.techknow10@gmail.com

The Entry fees amount of Rs. 70/- (per author) can be deposited at any branch of State Bank of India in A/c no. 20020088472 of Mr. Anish Anand, Chief student Coordinator for the event through Cheque/DD. The deposit slip should be preserved by the participant.

• Last date for submission of paper is 8th Mar’10.
• Paper would be judged on the basis of effort taken to collect information , Depth of Knowledge.
• The paper should contain a certain amount of original effort and should not be a plagiarised version of existing papers.
• Participants whose papers are shortlisted /waitlisted shall be informed through mail. The list will also be put up on the website www.csi-rait.org  by 11^th march’10.
• Shortlisted Participant should confirm their participation latest by 13^th of march’10. 
• In case participant fails to confirm their participation by 13^th march’10, waitlisted candidate would be given chance to for final presentation who need to confirm it by 16^th march’10.

FOR  FINAL PRESENTATION

1. The final presentation would be held on 26^th & 27^th of March’10 at Ramrao Adik Institute Of Technology ,  Dr. D Y Patil Campus  Nerul  , Navi Mumbai , Maharashtra.
2. The paper submitted will have to be presented during the event.
3. 2 hard copies of the same are to be submitted before presentation.
4.  The teams will get   10 minutes to present their paper.
5.  It will be followed by a question and answer  session .
6. The participants will have to present their paper as a PowerPoint Presentation (mandatory).
7. Decision of the organising committee would be final and binding on all participants.

PRIZES & CERTIFICATE :

The Winners of this event will get a cash prize of-

 1^st Prize:  Rs. 6000/-

2^nd Prize:  Rs. 4000/-

3^rd Prize:  Rs. 2000/-

All the shortlisted participants will get participation Certificates.
