“ELECTRONIC WASTE”: For this competition, electronic waste (e-waste) includes the following items: computers (any part), scanners, printers, mobile phones, optical drives, televisions, DVD/VCR players, MP3 players, and fax machines.
E-waste excludes: refrigerators, toasters, radios, alarm clocks, electronic devices that are a part of a motor vehicle, display devices contained within appliances, such as a clothes washer or dryer, oven range, etc.
There are two categories under which a team can submit their project :
1. E-waste Prevention: Targets how to reduce or eliminate e-waste generation.
2. E-waste Reuse: Targets how to re use e-waste into significant products.

Registration is free. Participants can register as individuals or as teams as long as the team has no more than 5 members.
Teams have to submit:
- Complete description of project in PDF format containing the following headings:
- Introduction or Problem
- Key Advantages
Max. Word Limit: 700 words
As well as a list of e-waste and new components used in a separate PDF file.
The entries will be sent to: email@example.com with the Subject as: E-Waste Management.
The selected entries will be informed through mail and will be called for the final round of presentation where the selected teams are expected to present their idea in front of the judges with the help of audio, visual and presentation techniques.
