The Electrical Engineering students of Meenakshi Sundararajan
Engineering College (MSEC) proudly present the annual technical symposium, Epsilon
’12. Held on Feb 10^th 2012, we the organisers have decided to ignite your minds, and
we are keen in inspiring students by illustrating the Spirit of Engineering. It
comprises of 10 events right from Robotics to Treasure hunt. For all the techno
geeks out there, you can try contesting in Circuit Design & Debugging and
Robotics and prove your technical worth/ prowess. On the contrary, several
events have been embraced for students to indulge in non-technical areas such
as Short – films, gaming & “Team –Epsilon”.

Events:

This time introducing a new event,Short Film, which is an
excellent opportunity to express one’s thoughts and to reach out to the public.This is a platform for students to express their ideas and bring out the hidden talent. Another event is the ‘Team Epsilon’ ~ another new venture..!!!

*Epsilon Spirit: – This topic is generic in nature and invites participants’ to present papers that
provides solution to the current industrial problems. Epsilon’12 aims at celebrating innovations
and shall promote all solutions that are proposed. Special recognition shall be provided to those
who contest in this category. Let’s try to build ideas and improve the world where we dwell.

RULES AND REGULATIONS:

1) Papers that are submitted for scrutiny must be in IEEE format.
2) The maximum number of authors permitted per paper is 3
3) The event is open to all colleges, and there is no restriction on the number of teams
participating from a specific college.
4) Multiple Entries from a single author have to be discussed with the organizers.
5) The total time allotted per paper is 15 minutes (12min-presentation and 3min-Query
Session).
6) In case the paper demands hardware simulation, the participants will have to do the
needful as per the organizers’ demands.
7) Abstracts of the paper must be submitted by January 15th

The deadline for paper submission is January 30th.
Participants are required to send in their details (Name, phone number, college name,
year, and department) along with their entries.9) Papers selected for presentation at EPSILON ’12 will be finalized by February 5th
and the results shall be published on the website.

10) Three Hardcopies have to be submitted during the presentation for perusal.
11) The coordinators of the event reserve the right to reject any paper which does not meet
the standards specified.
12) The judge’s decision will be the final decision and all the participants are requested to
follow the specified rules.
13) Incase participants are willing to present a paper in a topic not specified in the official
list they can contact the organizers for further queries regarding submission of paper.
