Paper presentation

Topic:
1.Pervasive Computing
2.Android
3.Open Source
4.Biometrics
5.Emerging technologies…

Paper Format:

• Paper should be in IEEE format
• Abstract should not exceed 500 words
• Paper should not exceed the maximum limit of six pages
• Papers should only be in .doc or .pdf format

Instructions:

A maximum of two authors per paper

The participants should bring two hardcopies of the paper

• Presentation should be in power point presentation MS Office 2007
• Each team will be allotted seven minutes for presentation and three minutes for queries
• Any extension from the allotted time may result in the loss of points
• The participants should bring their presentation on CD drive along with two hardcopies.

Submission Rules:

• Contacts information such as Mobile Number and Mail ID of the authors should be in the paper
•  The name of the document should be the title of the paper
• Send the document of the paper as attachment
• All papers must be sent to  techcrescenza2012@rmd.ac.in  on or before 29.08.2012
• The shortlisted participants who are eligible for presenting their paper in final presentation will be intimated through mail on or before 04.09.2012
• The decision of the judges is final

 

CODE & DEBUG

Description:

• Event consists of two rounds
• The 1st  round is consists of debugging the code in C and C++ (Finding Errors, Output, etc.,)
• The 2nd round consists of coding in C and C++ and finding the output

Constraints:

• The team should consists of maximum of two members
• The team members should be from the same institution
• The first round is an elimination round and the second round is the selection round
• The participants are not allowed to use any Compiler/IDE in the 1st round(debugging round)
• The participants can only use C/C++ in the 2nd round
• In any situation judge’s decision is final

 

TECHNICAL QUIZ

Event Description:

ROUND 1: Survival Round (Non – Technical)

Description:

• The Team should consists of maximum of two members
• The Team members should be from the same institution
• The First round is an Elimination Round
• Duration-15 Minutes mostly Non-Technical
• Students are selected based on their results to next round

ROUND 2: Challenger Round (Technical)

Description:

• The Second Round is Final Round
• Duration-25 Minutes mostly Technical
• Student who wins bags the prizes and crowned as the “Quiz Wizard”

FOTO FUNDAS

Constraints:

• Picture from other source are not allowed
• The design must comprise of three picture or more and attractive text
• Maximum of two per team
• At any situation judge’s decision is final

ROUND 1:Eliminator Round

Description:

• Set of pictures will be given out of which the contestant must create innovative design or poster.
• Duration-15 mins.
• Softwares like Flash, Photoshop will be given.
• The design must be out of their own creativity.
• Selected contestants will move to the final round based on the judge’s evaluation.

ROUND 2: Final Round

Description:

• The Second Round is Final Round
• On the spot Scenario or Theme will be given to the contestant.
• The Contestant should use their wild imagination to create an image that relates to the theme”
• Duration-30 mins.
• Softwares like Flash, Photoshop will be given.
• Contestant who wins,bags the prizes and titled as “The Animaster”….

 

ADZAP

Description:
No of persons in a team : 2 – 3 members
Duration                        : 3 mins

1st round – Preliminary round = adzap: elimination round

• In this round a team will be given a product and asked to advertise after 3 mins of preparation.
• Duration of performance is 3 mins.
• Points awarded based on theme, attraction, performance and entertainment.

2nd round – Final round= selection round

 

• In this round, 3 members a team has to participate.
• In this round a tem will be given a topic and asked to perform after 3 mins of preparation.
• Points awarded based on theme, attraction, performance and entertainment.
• The best team wins home the title
